December 23

While the kids and I were waiting for calendars to be printed at the community college copy center, we ate at Village Inn.  Too bad the whole thing was a fresh waste because the college copy guy was a turd and didn't really care how it turned out.  He just wanted to go home early and gave us calendars that looked like poo.  So, John asked his friend at Alphagraphics to reprint them high quality.  She did them and we picked them up.  Just goes to show you that you should go with quality rather than "Hey, this could be cheaper" because we ended up paying for 4 calendars total instead of only 2.  Cheaper is not necessarily less expensive.

When we were leaving the restaurant, these strangers stopped me and asked if they could give the kids some toys they just won out of the $8 Toy Machine (as John and I call it).  It's one of those claw things that doesn't let you win except once in a while.  They won two toys and gave them both to Emily and Parker.  The kids loved it and spent the next few days telling everyone they saw that they got toys from strangers.  Uh..... ok.
