John is playing Heavenly Sword. He turned on the german language feature so I can barely follow along with what they are saying. Other than that, watching him play is cool.
Anyhow, I thought I'd just update things for now. Work is stressful. I'm not enjoying my job at all. Until I find a new job, that's all I'm going to say about it.
I'm working on getting the house ready for updating. We've been talking about selling the house and moving to a new place. We can't do that until we get some things fixed up around the house.
Tonight Parker made up another funny song. It goes "Parachute Attack...Parachute Attack. Big Cadillac, Big Cadillac. Silent Patty Whack. Silent Patty Whack. Big Hairy Back. Big Hairy Back. Candy in a Sack, Candy in a Sack. Trains on a Track. Trains on a Track. I Wanna Piggyback. I Wanna Piggyback." He was laughing his head off when he was singing it. I helped him come up with some of the words, but it was his song.
Today we went to the Gateway to shoot some pictures for an advertisement for John's work. It was fun, but Parker had a stomach ache and needed to rest. We went to Mom's for dinner and had yummy stew and biscuits! After dinner Amber made chocolate chip cookies, they weren't gluten free but they smelled yummy! :)
Emily is trying to read the Book of Mormon. She has made it through half of the first chapter. The Stake Presidency member told her in my interview that she would become a great reader if she read it. She is such a great example to us. We are very blessed to have her and Parker in our family.
This one is my favorite of the three.
I bought them some hats that they could wear and they posed with the display. The hats they are wearing are replicas of those worn in the war against Mexico.
Emily was proud to find a real Jeep sitting with the rest of the army vehicles on display. She and Parker wanted their pictures taken with the real Jeep.
The kids thought the helicopter was great. They saluted our troops in front of it.
Parker's favorite was the tank. After this visit he decided that the tank was his favorite vehicle.

This was my favorite vehicle there. It said "Wash Me".

I'm sorry that you aren't loving your job. I do want to hear all about that sometime... The kids are growing up so fast! They are funny. I love parkers song. That would have been one that my kids would have died laughing over. We miss you. We are planning on coming sometime this fall. When I have the baby. I will let you know when we would love to see you.
