Who wants to see Grandma's house NOW?

On Tuesday, I was in Kaysville/Layton area for business and my boss and I passed Grandma's house. I snapped a quick photo as we were driving by. It is now an American Family Insurance place. Then, on Friday, I had to head up to Sunset City for an appointment. On my way back, I stopped in to cold call on them. They let me snap some photos of the inside. I didn't get near as many as I would have liked, but I certainly appreciated them letting me take a tour of the house. It is very different on the outside (as you can see here), but it is even more different on the inside. Of course, the green carpet is gone and the sparkly ceiling is no more. The kitchen is beautiful and so is the garage. The Gold Room is the office of the main guy and the bathroom is still in there. The Blue Room and the Purple Room changed also. The bathroom is no longer pink. It is such a cute place. Take a look at these photos. See if you can imagine the original furniture layout.
This is the corner where the Christmas tree was always displayed. The front room is divided by a partial wall now, right where the big mirror used to be. There is a wall with a door that leads back to the hallway and the kitchen.
This is the garage. Much improved from the old shelves, etc.
Here's the kitchen. I got to stand right in the place where I spit milk all over Dad when we went there for dinner and Kristie and I were having a milk / water drink staredown. ha ha ha!
Here's the Pink Bathroom...the tub is gone. Only a sink and a toilet. Much different, but beautiful nonetheless.
This is the entry way where her piano used to be. Now it's filled with insurance pamphlets.
I wished I could have taken more pictures, but the lady was so nice to let me even take these ones. I'm going to send her a thank you card on Monday.
