Ok, ok.  John's been bugging me to get some posts on here.  My battery is fully charged and I've got some good photos to put on here.  

Today I'm waiting to find out if I got a new job.  Oh, to fill you in, I was laid off from my job.  I must say, to be honest, I'm glad I was.  I'm away from the people that made working no fun and there's no more speculating or guessing what upper management is thinking.  I have been looking for jobs since before I was laid off anyway. 

In my time off, I've applied for 8 jobs, interviewed at one, read a lot of news, chatted on IM with my real friends, waited for my severance check to come, and (here's the big one) CLEANED MY HOUSE!  It's amazing to find all the things you don't have time to do when you work full time.

It's been really fun being with the kids too.  Although, I'm stressed about paying the bills without a job, I'm eager to get hired on at this place I interviewed at.  Potential to make some good money after time.  Hopefully I get that opportunity.  Well, as I was typing this, I got a call and was told I got the job!  WOO HOO!  I start on Monday.

ANYHOW, Emily has been reading like crazy in her class and was the first student in her class to reach 80% of the reading goal set by the district.  She loves reading.  Parker was tested for the gifted program at school this week.  He says he did pretty good on it.  

John is still at the theatre and still loving his job.  His boss is awesome.
