Science day!

Emily and Parker LOVE doing science!  They studied this spider I caught in the house.  We held it hostage until John came home and released it in the snow at the park.  It was one of those fast moving, super springy things.  The kids loved "studying" it.

Emily has her own microscope and lets Parker explore things up close with her.  They looked at some crumbs, salt, sugar, leaves, onion, etc.  She really loves exploring things like that and making her own notes as she goes.

Her and Parker have lots of experiments they come up with.  Things like, what floats and what sinks; polishing pennies with lemon juice; how liquids change colors when you add food coloring; what falls to the ground faster; etc.  They love doing science!
